Haemoglobinometer Digital Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-ELA-5432
Jlab Export is a leading Haemoglobinometer Digital Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Haemoglobinometer Digital (code EL-ELA-5432) is a microprocessor-based haemoglobin meter that works on the cyanmethaemoglobin principle and shows the result directly on a 3-digit LED display over a range of 0–30 g/dl. Once the value of the standard has been entered, it reads samples directly with automatic zero setting. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

How Does It Compare with Other JLab Haemoglobin Meters?
| Model | Range and sample | Display, keys and other listed details |
|---|---|---|
| This meter (EL-ELA-5432) | 0–30 g/dl; 1.0 ml | 3-digit 7-segment LED; 5 membrane keys; 220 V, 50 Hz AC; ABS body |
| Haemoglobin Meter | 0–30 g/dl; 1 ml | 3-digit 7-segment red LED; 3 membrane keys; 546 nm; 230 V AC; matched test tubes (set of 5) and spare lamp |
| Microprocessor Hemoglobin Meter | 0–40 g/dl; 1 ml | 16 x 2 line LCD; 4 soft-touch keys; 530 nm; 230 V AC; test tubes, tube stand, spare lamp and dust cover |
All three use the cyanmethaemoglobin method with automatic zero and calibration. Choose this model for a light ABS-bodied meter on a 220 V, 50 Hz supply; the other two listings name their wavelength and include test tubes and a spare lamp, and the LCD model extends the range.
What Is the Digital Haemoglobinometer Used For?
A digital haemoglobinometer measures the haemoglobin concentration of a prepared blood sample and removes the colour-matching step of visual methods. In the cyanmethaemoglobin method, a small measured volume of blood is diluted in Drabkin’s reagent, which converts haemoglobin to stable cyanmethaemoglobin; the meter measures the colour of that solution and, after it has been set with a haemoglobin standard, displays the value in g/dl. It is used for training in medical laboratory technology, nursing and physiology practicals, where students can compare its reading with the visual method.
Enter the standard’s value before the first reading, as the instrument manual describes, and keep the dust cover on when the meter is not in use. Treat all blood samples as potentially infectious and wear gloves. Drabkin’s reagent contains a small amount of cyanide, so handle and dispose of it according to its safety data sheet.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Mains supply — the meter is listed for 220 V, 50 Hz AC; state your voltage and plug type for export orders.
- Reagent and standard — neither is listed with the meter; say if you want them discussed in the quotation.
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 units.
Frequently Asked Questions
What range and sample volume does it use?
It reads haemoglobin from 0 to 30 g/dl with a sample volume of 1.0 ml, shown on a 3-digit, 7-segment LED display.
How is it calibrated?
Calibration is automatic with the standard: the set value of the standard is entered once, after which the meter gives direct readings. Zero setting is also automatic.
Are the reagent and standard included?
They are not listed with the meter, which is supplied with a dust cover, instruction manual and cord and plug. Ask JLab if you need them quoted.
What power supply does it need?
It works on 220 V, 50 Hz AC through the cord and plug supplied. For a different mains supply, mention it in your enquiry.
How does it differ from the visual haemoglobinometer?
The visual set is read by matching colours by eye in a comparator. This meter measures the cyanmethaemoglobin solution electronically and displays the value, so results do not depend on colour matching.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of meters, your mains voltage, the destination country and port or city, preferred delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), packing or labelling needs and any tender reference.
Who manufactures this meter?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India, and quotes for it as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of laboratory instruments and teaching equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The meter is assembled at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, so training institutes, laboratories, dealers and importers deal directly with the maker; each unit is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders and service questions go to the same team. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Croatia in Southern Europe, Switzerland in Western Europe, Libya in North Africa, Uganda in East Africa and Fiji in Oceania.
