Characteristics of Semiconductor Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PET-10185
Jlab Export is a leading Characteristics of Semiconductor Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Characteristics of Semiconductor (code EL-PET-10185) is a training board for studying how common semiconductor devices conduct. Silicon, germanium and Zener diodes, an LED and a DIAC are mounted on the board with a resistance block and two variable DC supplies, and every connection is made with 2 mm banana patch cords. JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, builds it in Ambala, India.

What Is the Characteristics of Semiconductor Board Used For?
A device characteristic is the curve of current against applied voltage. With split variable supplies a device can be forward or reverse biased, so the board shows the forward turn-on of the two diodes and the LED, the reverse breakdown of the Zener diode and the breakover of the DIAC, and the fixed resistor in the resistance block can serve as the current-limiting resistor.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there both silicon and germanium diodes?
A germanium diode starts to conduct at a lower forward voltage than a silicon diode, so comparing the two curves shows how the semiconductor material changes the characteristic.
What does the DIAC characteristic show?
A DIAC conducts very little until the voltage across it reaches its breakover value, in either direction, and then conducts readily. This symmetrical behaviour is why DIACs are used to trigger TRIACs in AC power control.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of boards, the destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, and any tender reference.
Who manufactures this board?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), at its works in Ambala, Haryana.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics trainer and laboratory equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The board is made at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy it factory-direct. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Peru in South America, Panama in Central America and the Caribbean, Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, Estonia in Northern Europe and Portugal in Southern Europe. For tenders, see the JLab lab tenders page.
