What Is the PAM Kit Used For?
PAM samples a message with a pulse train, so each pulse height carries one sample value; by the sampling theorem the pulse rate must be more than twice the highest message frequency for the message to be recovered. Passing the PAM pulses through a low pass filter, as this kit’s demodulator does, smooths them back into the original waveform.
