What Is the Pressure Measurement Kit Used For?
It lets students follow an electronic pressure measurement from sensor to display: the excited transducer’s small output is raised by the instrumentation amplifier and shown on the digital panel meter, while the gauge shows the pressure applied, so the two readings can be compared across the range.

How does a resistive pressure transducer work?
It turns pressure into a change of electrical resistance. With an excitation voltage applied, that change appears as a small output voltage that rises with pressure.
Why does the kit need an instrumentation amplifier?
The transducer gives only a small voltage. An instrumentation amplifier amplifies the difference between its two inputs with high gain while rejecting any voltage common to both, so the panel meter receives a usable signal.
