Sensor Trainer Kit

Product Code : EL-PET-10235
Jlab Export is a leading Sensor Trainer Kit Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Sensor Trainer Kit (code EL-PET-10235) is a multi-sensor instrumentation trainer that puts displacement, load, temperature, level, speed and smoke sensing on one unit, so the main transducer types of an instrumentation course can be studied on a single bench. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) builds it in Ambala, India.

What Is the Sensor Trainer Kit Used For?

It is used in transducer and instrumentation practicals to compare how different kinds of sensor — inductive, resistive, thermoelectric, semiconductor and gas-sensitive — turn a physical quantity into an electrical signal, and how each signal is conditioned before it is displayed. Working through them on one trainer makes it easier to see why a given sensor suits a given measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does an LVDT measure displacement?
A linear variable differential transformer has one primary coil and two secondary coils around a movable core. Moving the core changes how much voltage each secondary picks up; the difference between them grows with displacement, and its phase shows the direction of movement.

How do the thermocouple, PT-100, LM335 and thermistor differ?
A K-type thermocouple produces a small voltage from the temperature difference between its junctions. The PT-100 is a platinum resistance sensor with a nearly linear response. The LM335 is an integrated circuit whose output is proportional to absolute temperature, and a thermistor shows a large but non-linear change of resistance.

How is speed measured?
A proximity switch or an opto-coupler produces a pulse each time a target on a rotating shaft passes it; counting the pulses over time gives the speed, which an RPM meter shows in revolutions per minute.

What does the MQ2 sensor detect?
The MQ2 is a gas sensor that responds to smoke and to several combustible gases; here it drives a buzzer to sound an alarm.

What information is needed for an export quotation?
The number of kits, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling needs and a tender reference if one applies.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an instrumentation and electronics trainer manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The trainer is produced at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers order it straight from the maker, along with later repeat units. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Laos in Southeast Asia, Bangladesh in South Asia, the Netherlands in Western Europe, Kenya in East Africa and North Macedonia in Southern Europe. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
