Displacement Measurement Using LVDT Trainer Kit Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PET-10237
Jlab Export is a leading Displacement Measurement Using LVDT Trainer Kit Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Displacement Measurement Using LVDT Trainer Kit (code EL-PET-10237) is a trainer for studying how a linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) converts a small straight-line movement into an electrical signal. Its LVDT measures displacement over ±5 mm. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) builds the kit at its Ambala works in India.

What Is the LVDT Trainer Kit Used For?
The kit is used for transducer practicals on linear displacement: the screw gauge gives a mechanical reference reading, and the digital panel meter shows the electrical reading, so the two can be compared to see how closely the LVDT output follows the movement.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does an LVDT measure displacement?
An LVDT has a primary winding, two secondary windings and a movable core. As a transformer, it needs AC on the primary — here a 1 kHz sine wave at 1 V p-p. At the centre position the two secondary voltages balance; moving the core makes their difference grow in proportion to the displacement, and the phase shows the direction.
How does this kit differ from the Sensor Trainer Kit?
This kit is dedicated to displacement measurement with an LVDT. The Sensor Trainer Kit also has an LVDT in a transparent enclosure, alongside a resistive load cell, temperature sensors, level and speed measurement and a smoke sensor on one trainer.
Who manufactures the LVDT trainer kit?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) makes it in Ambala, Haryana, India, and quotes for it as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of electronics trainers and engineering lab equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The LVDT kit is produced at the company’s own works, not sourced from a trader, and is sold factory-direct to institutions, dealers and importers. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example the Philippines in Southeast Asia, Vanuatu in Oceania, Uzbekistan in Central Asia, Slovenia in Southern Europe and Canada in North America.
Other JLab Transducer Kits
- Ultrasonic Displacement Kit — a 40 kHz ultrasonic transducer for distances from 25 cm to about 6 metres.
- Angular Displacement Kit — a multi-turn potentiometer transducer for angles from 0° to 360°.
- Load Measurement Using Strain Gauge Kit — a cantilever-type load cell for loads up to 3 kg.
