Jlab Export is a leading Synchro Transmitter and Receiver Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Synchro Transmitter and Receiver (code EL-PET-10245) is a control-systems trainer built around a synchro transmitter-receiver pair with calibrated dials, for studying how a shaft angle is transmitted and detected electrically. The pair is housed in a see-through metal cabinet. It is a JLab product, manufactured in Ambala, India, by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd.

What Is the Synchro Transmitter and Receiver Used For?

It is used in control systems practicals on synchros, both as a pair that repeats a shaft angle at a distance and as an angular error detector. The calibrated dials let the transmitter and receiver angles be read directly and compared.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a synchro pair transmit an angle?
In the transmitter, an AC-excited rotor induces voltages in three stator windings, and those voltages depend on the rotor angle. With the stators of the two units connected, the receiver rotor is pulled round to the same angle as the transmitter rotor.

What happens when the receiver is used as a control transformer?
Its rotor then gives an AC error voltage that depends on the difference between the two shaft angles and falls to a null at correspondence. The balanced demodulator turns the AC error into a DC signal whose polarity shows the direction of the error.

How is this different from the Potentiometric Error Detector?
Both produce an error signal from shaft angles. This trainer does it with a synchro pair working on AC, while the Potentiometric Error Detector uses resistive servo-potentiometers.

Who manufactures this trainer?
JLab makes it at its own works in Ambala, Haryana, India.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a control-systems and electronics trainer manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The synchro trainer comes from JLab’s own workshop, not from a trader, and is sold factory-direct.
