Temperature Sensor Trainer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PET-10246
Jlab Export is a leading Temperature Sensor Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Temperature Sensor Trainer (code EL-PET-10246) is a trainer for studying and comparing four types of temperature transducer — an NTC thermistor, a platinum RTD, a K-type (Cr-Al) thermocouple and an IC temperature sensor — and for using them in alarm and PID temperature-control circuits. The trainer is made in Ambala, India, by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab).

What Is the Temperature Sensor Trainer Used For?
It is used in instrumentation and process-control practicals. Students can measure with each transducer in turn and compare their behaviour, study and compare transducer-controlled alarm systems, and see how proportional, integral and derivative actions, alone and combined, change the way a temperature is held at its set point.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the four temperature transducers differ?
An NTC thermistor’s resistance falls as temperature rises; it is very sensitive but strongly non-linear. A platinum RTD’s resistance rises steadily and close to linearly, and it is very stable. A thermocouple generates its own small voltage from the temperature difference between its junctions and covers wide ranges. An IC temperature sensor gives an output proportional to temperature that is easy to use but limited in range.
What do the P, I and D actions do?
Proportional action responds to the present error, integral action acts on the error accumulated over time and so reduces steady-state offset, and derivative action responds to how fast the error is changing, which damps overshoot.
How is it different from the Thermocouple and RTD trainer kits?
The Thermocouple Trainer Kit and RTD Trainer Kit each focus on one sensor, with a water heater, a thermometer and a digital panel meter. This trainer brings four transducer types together with alarm and PID control circuits.
How does it compare with the Temperature Process Control Trainer?
The Temperature Process Control Trainer is a process rig with a PID digital indicating controller, a Pt100 RTD, a 3 kW heater and an insulated process tank. This trainer studies control action through separate P, I and D controller blocks.
Who manufactures the Temperature Sensor Trainer?
JLab manufactures it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of electronic lab instruments, sensor trainers and other engineering lab equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This trainer is assembled in JLab’s own works rather than sourced from a trader, and institutions, dealers and importers buy it factory-direct. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — Ireland in Western Europe, Trinidad and Tobago in Central America and the Caribbean, Taiwan in East Asia, Kuwait in the Middle East and Mozambique in East Africa are some examples.
