TDM Pulse Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation Kit

Product Code : EL-PET-10209
Jlab Export is a leading TDM Pulse Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation Kit Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

TDM Pulse Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation Kit (code EL-PET-10209) is a communication lab training kit for time division multiplexing (TDM) of pulse amplitude modulated signals. Four analog channels are sampled in turn, carried as one pulse train and separated again at the receiving side. The kit is made in Ambala, India, by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, which trades as JLab.

What Is the TDM PAM Kit Used For?

In TDM-PAM each channel is sampled in its own time slot and the samples from all channels are interleaved into one pulse train. At the receiver the pulses are switched back to their channels and low-pass filtered to recover each message. The channel identification signal lets the receiver tell the slots apart.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast is each channel sampled?
At 32 kHz per channel, well above twice the 3.4 kHz cut-off of the low-pass filter.

How does this kit differ from the TDM Modulation and Demodulation Kit?
This kit multiplexes four analog channels, each sampled at 32 kHz; the TDM Modulation and Demodulation Kit handles two channels and has a 40 kHz sampling output.

What does the PLL do at the receiver?
A phase-locked loop locks onto the incoming pulse train and rebuilds the clock from it, so the de-multiplexer switches in step with the transmitter.

OEM Manufacturer

Behind the JLab name is Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics and laboratory equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. JLab builds this kit itself rather than buying it in, so colleges, dealers and importers deal factory-direct for first orders, repeat orders and spares. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Honduras in Central America and the Caribbean, Belgium in Western Europe, Lesotho in Southern Africa, Australia in Oceania and Angola in Central Africa. See the JLab lab tenders page for tender enquiries.
