The kit contains a 60 mm long and 20 mm in diameter cylinder which has a resistance of approximately 20 W. 

Can readily be connected into an electrical circuit and both length and diameter can easily be altered by re-moulding the putty.

Conducting putty is a useful aid to teaching resistivity and the relationship between length and cross-sectional area on resistance.
