Ticker Tape Spark Timer

Connect the timer to any wall outlet, 110v, put the paper thru the two guides, place the carbon discs and start measuring.
Useful for measuring acceleration of a falling weight, calculating the speed of moving cart or studying the forces associated with friction.
The timer records every 1/60th of a second by printing a dot on the ticker tape.
Measurement is done by comparing the spacing between dots.
The faster the strip moves, the larger the distance between dots making it is easy for the student to calculate the rate of speed of acceleration.
Strong hardwood construction, 7 inch (177mm) x 2 inch (50mm) x 1.25 inch (32mm).
Body has holes to mount on a support stand rod.
Hole 0.41 inch (10mm) dia.
All electronic components are well shielded.
5ft (1.5m) long cable, with in line on-off switch.
Supplied with one roll of tape, 100ft, and 12 carbon discs.
