Water Turbine Apparatus
His is an apparatus that demonstrates the basic technology how electricity is generating using water, Hydro-electric generation.
It consists of a see thru water turbine, connected by a belt to a generator, which in turn is connected to a LED and motor mounted disc.
There are also two terminals from which electricity can be drawn.
Mounted on a strong plastic base.
Supplied with two PVC tubing, one for connecting the top of the turbine to a water source (tap) and the other for draining out the water.
When water is let in from the top, it turns the paddles in the turbine which in turn are connected to a pulley which with the help of a belt turns the generator.
The generator generates electric power which lights up the LED and turns the motor on.
