Jlab Export is a leading 3MHz Function-Pulse Generator with 50MHz Frequency Counter Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
3MHz Function-Pulse Generator with 50MHz Frequency Counter (code EL-FG-10388) is a DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) generator that sets frequency to 1 mHz resolution up to 3 MHz and offers sine, square, triangle, ramp, pulse and TTL outputs, a library of built-in arbitrary waveforms and internal modulation. It drives 20 Vpp open circuit, reads signals with a 50 MHz counter and shows settings on a TFT colour LCD. JLab manufactures this 3 MHz DDS generator in Ambala, India.

Why DDS Gives Such Fine Frequency Steps
A DDS generator does not tune an analogue oscillator. It steps through a stored table of waveform samples at a fixed clock rate, and a tuning number, added to a phase accumulator on every clock cycle, decides how fast the table is read. Changing that number by one changes the output frequency by a tiny, fixed amount, which is how steps of 1 mHz become possible and why the frequency holds steady once set.
Built-in Arbitrary Waveforms
Beyond the standard shapes, stored waveforms cover biomedical, audio and mathematical work: Cardiac imitates a heartbeat signal, Voice gives an audio-like pattern, and Sinc, Blackman and the exponential rise and fall curves are mathematical functions. Stair Up and Stair Down give stepped levels. Internal modulation is available without connecting a separate modulation source.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 1 mHz resolution the same as 1 MHz?
They are different units. One millihertz (1 mHz) is a thousandth of a hertz, 0.001 Hz, while 1 MHz is a million hertz, so the small m means very fine steps.
Does the generator give 20 Vpp into any load?
The 20 Vpp figure is the open-circuit (O.C.) output. With a load connected the voltage across it is lower, so check the level on a scope.
