Activated Charcoal Powder Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-CL-12226
Jlab Export is a leading Activated Charcoal Powder Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Activated Charcoal Powder (code EL-CL-12226) is carbon treated to open up a very large internal surface, so dyes, coloured impurities and gases are held on it by adsorption. Chemists stir it into solutions to remove colour, and teachers use it to show that adsorption is a surface effect. JLab produces the powder in Ambala, India.

Removing Colour During Recrystallisation
When a crude organic solid gives a tinted hot solution, a little of the powder is added, the mixture is boiled briefly and then filtered while hot. The coloured impurities stay behind on the carbon in the filter paper, and the filtrate cools to give purer, paler crystals.
A Simple Adsorption Demonstration
Shake a dilute litmus or dye solution with the charcoal and filter it: the filtrate is far paler than the starting liquid, although nothing has reacted. The dye molecules cling to the carbon surface, and the larger that surface, the more they hold.
