Fitting It to the Condenser
Seat the socket over a cone of the same size, usually at the outlet end of a condenser, and set the receiving flask beneath the delivery end. Because the path has no bend, the outlet continues in line with the joint it is fitted to. Match the socket to the condenser cone before ordering.
