Jlab Export is a leading Blood Typing Kit Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Blood Typing Kit (code EL-GAIE-6880) is a simulated ABO-Rh blood typing kit that lets students type blood groups A, B, AB and O and determine the Rh factor using artificial blood and sera, so no real blood is used. It is designed for biology classes working individually or in small groups. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Blood Typing Kit Used For?
In a clinical laboratory, blood is grouped by mixing it with anti-A, anti-B and anti-Rh (anti-D) sera and watching for clumping, called agglutination. This kit follows the same procedure with artificial blood and sera, so students practise ABO and Rh typing without handling real blood, needles or lancets. It fits class 11 lessons on body fluids and circulation, where the ABO and Rh systems are introduced, and the class 12 inheritance chapter, where ABO blood groups are the standard example of multiple alleles and codominance. As a genetics experiment kit it also suits college biology and teacher-training labs.
Students add each simulated serum to the samples in the combo plate, mix, and record which combinations show a reaction; from that pattern they assign the ABO group and Rh type. They then use the results to decide which samples could act as donors for which recipients, and work through the paternity problem by asking which parental genotypes could produce the child’s blood group. After the class the washable parts are rinsed, and the combo plates can go through a dishwasher.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Number of kits — the kits are designed for individual use or small groups, so plan one per student or group; the minimum order is 10 kits.
- Workbooks and guides — these must be ordered separately; mention them in the same enquiry if you need them.
- Batch details — ask for the expiry date of the artificial blood and sera in the kits you are quoted.
- Supporting teaching aids — a blood poster or prepared blood slide can be added to the order (see below).
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this kit use real blood?
No. It uses artificial blood and artificial sera that simulate actual blood typing, so classes can run the practical without collecting or handling blood.
Which blood groups can students identify with it?
The four ABO groups — A, B, AB and O — and whether each sample is Rh positive or Rh negative, since Rh factor determination is part of the kit.
How does the kit teach inheritance and the paternity question?
The ABO group is controlled by three alleles: A and B are codominant and O is recessive, with the Rh factor inherited separately. Students compare the typed groups of a child, the mother and possible fathers to see which men could or could not be the father. The exercise also shows a real limitation: blood groups can rule a man out, but they cannot prove that he is the father.
How does it show who can donate to whom?
After typing, students match donors to recipients using the ABO and Rh rules — for example, group O red cells can be given to any ABO group, and an AB recipient can accept red cells of any ABO group.
Are workbooks and teacher guides included?
No. The listing includes student worksheets written to suit the curriculum, but workbooks and guides must be ordered separately.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of kits, the destination country and port or city, your preferred delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, any labelling needs, whether you also need workbooks or guides, and a tender reference if one applies.
Who manufactures this blood typing kit?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India, and supplies it factory-direct.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a maker of biology lab equipment and teaching kits in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The blood typing kit is produced at the company’s own works, not resold from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers deal directly with the manufacturer for first orders, repeat kits and replacements. The company holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 as a manufacturing enterprise and exports under Importer-Exporter Code 3317504552. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — the USA in North America, Taiwan in East Asia, Costa Rica in Central America and the Caribbean, Kuwait in the Middle East and Turkmenistan in Central Asia, for example. Institutions buying by tender can refer to the JLab lab tenders page.
