What Is the Burette Brush Used For?
Burettes used in class 11 and class 12 titration practicals need cleaning after every session so that drops do not cling to the walls and spoil the next reading. Drain the burette, rinse it with tap water, push the brush gently up and down the tube with a little detergent solution, then rinse with tap water and finally with distilled water, and leave the burette upside down to drain.
