What Is the Exterior Angle of Regular Polygon Set Used For?
An exterior angle is formed when one side of a polygon is extended: it lies between the extension and the next side. Going once round a convex polygon, you turn through each exterior angle in turn and end up facing the starting direction again, one full turn, so the exterior angles always total 360°. In a regular polygon the exterior angles are all equal, so each one is 360° divided by the number of sides. The extended arms mark these angles on the polygon, and the matching cut-outs let students put the angles together and see that they make a complete turn. The set is used for angle properties of polygons in middle-school geometry and in school maths labs.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of sets, for example one per group of students or one for the teacher.
- Other angle-property sets and protractors — the items linked below are separate and can be quoted on the same enquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this set demonstrate?
That the exterior angles of a polygon add up to 360°.
What is in the set?
A regular polygon with extended arms that make its exterior angles, and a set of angle cut-outs according to the polygon.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of sets, the destination country and port or city, preferred delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling needs, and a tender reference if the order is for a tender.
Who manufactures the Exterior Angle of Regular Polygon set?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of geometry models, maths lab sets and school laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This polygon set is made at JLab's own works rather than bought in from a trader, so schools, dealers and importers deal with the maker directly, including for repeat orders. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Niger in West Africa, Fiji in Oceania, El Salvador in Central America and the Caribbean, Zambia in East Africa and Tunisia in North Africa. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
