Mounting the Clamp on a Stand
The rod of the clamp is fixed to the upright of a retort or burette stand, normally through a boss head, and the two burettes are then set in the clamp at matching heights so each tip sits over its own flask. Students working in pairs can share one stand while each reads a separate burette.
