Jlab Export is a leading Respiratory System Microslide Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Respiratory System Microslide (code EL-HBE-6985) is a Microslide of related 35 mm images, photographed through a microscope, that traces the airway from the trachea, with its cartilages and its neighbour the gullet, through the human bronchial tree and the lining of the respiratory passages to the air sacs of the lung and their capillary networks. Arrows, callouts and a detailed text folder guide the lesson. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, Ambala, India) supplies it to schools, colleges and dealers.

What Is the Respiratory System Microslide Used For?
It lets students follow a breath of air down to the place where gases are exchanged. In the neck the trachea lies in front of the gullet, and rings of cartilage hold the windpipe open so that it does not collapse; the open side of each C-shaped ring faces the gullet. The trachea then divides again and again into the bronchial tree. The epithelial lining of these passages produces mucus that traps dust, and its cilia sweep the mucus upward and out of the lungs. At the end of the airways are the air sacs, surrounded by capillary networks, where oxygen passes into the blood and carbon dioxide passes out.
The images support the human respiratory system in Life Processes in class 10 science and breathing and exchange of gases in class 11 biology, and they are a ready revision aid for college physiology and nursing classes. Each student looks through a Microslide Viewer, finds the structure with the help of the arrows and callouts, and answers the questions in the text folder; the folder’s pocket holds the Microslide when the lesson ends.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 units.
- Microslide Viewers — add them to the enquiry if you do not already have viewers.
- Models for the same topic — a respiratory system model or lung demonstration model can be quoted together with the sets.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Respiratory System Microslide show?
As listed: the trachea and gullet, the capillary networks, pigment, the cartilages of the trachea, the human bronchial tree, the epithelial lining of the respiratory passages and the air sacs of the lung.
Why are the trachea and gullet shown together?
They run side by side in the neck. The image lets students compare the windpipe, held open by its cartilage rings, with the muscular food tube behind it.
Is a Microslide Viewer included?
The images are made to be viewed through a Microslide Viewer, which JLab lists as a separate item. Tell us how many viewers you need, if any, when you ask for a quotation.
Who supplies the Respiratory System Microslide?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), Ambala, Haryana, India, which resells this Microslide product and quotes for it directly.
Supplier
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a laboratory equipment company incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Next to the biology models, charts and apparatus of its own range, it resells Microslide sets such as this one, which means a school can order the respiratory unit — models, photomicrographs and viewers — from one supplier; each set is visually checked before it is packed. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Namibia in Southern Africa, Turkmenistan in Central Asia, Australia in Oceania, Libya in North Africa and Bhutan in South Asia.
Related Respiration Resources
- Microslide Viewer — designed for viewing Microslides; no batteries are needed.
- Respiratory System Model — a cutaway of the upper torso and head with an enlarged bronchial tree and a magnified, partly sectioned alveolus.
- Human Respiratory System with Magnified Alveolus — a relief model on a base showing the airways and a magnified alveolus with blood vessels.
- Lung Demonstration Model — a working model of breathing with two sacs as lungs and a rubber membrane as the diaphragm.
- The Circulatory System Microslide — a Microslide that includes the lung capillaries from the blood’s side.
