What Is the Shoulder Joint Model Used For?
The shoulder is a ball-and-socket joint and the most mobile joint in the body, which also makes it prone to dislocation. Moving the model through abduction (raising the arm away from the side), adduction (bringing it back), anteversion (swinging it forward), retroversion (swinging it backward) and internal and external rotation lets students see how the ligaments guide and limit each movement. It is used in anatomy, physiotherapy, orthopaedics and sports science teaching, by doctors and physiotherapists explaining shoulder problems to patients, and in class 11 biology lessons on joints.

OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of anatomical and orthopaedic models in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The shoulder model is made at JLab’s own works, not bought in from a trader, so colleges, clinics, dealers and importers buy direct from the manufacturer, every model is visually inspected before it is packed, and repeat orders are handled by the same works. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example DR Congo in Central Africa, the Netherlands in Western Europe, Namibia in Southern Africa, Qatar in the Middle East and Costa Rica in Central America and the Caribbean. For tenders, see the JLab lab tenders page.
