• The Student Projectile Launcher is a great tool to determine the relationship between launch angle, launch velocity and projectile range.
• This durable launcher can fire a small projectile ball at three different speeds and vary the launch angle between -45° and 90°.
• When a Digital Smart Timer is used with the included photo gate, the velocity of the projectile can be measured and theoretical values for range can be compared to actual values.
• 2 steel balls are included with the Student Projectile Launcher.
• This manual comes complete with an assembly section, theoretical section about 2-D projectile motion, a STEM section explaining real-world applications of 2-D projectile motion, 2 student labs and lab answer keys.
• This launcher will help your student’s master 2-D projectile motion.
• We have added the Photo gates with RJ45 connectors as value addition to this product.
• The unit will work without the Photo gates.
• If you want to use the Photo gates you will need our Digital Timer.
• The Photo gates might work with your existing timers, but we cannot say for sure as models and software vary.
