Typical Plant Cell on Plastic Base Model

Product Code : EL-PE-7566
Jlab Export is a leading Typical Plant Cell on Plastic Base Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Typical Plant Cell on Plastic Base Model (code EL-PE-7566) is a model of a plant cell as it appears under the electron microscope, mounted on a plastic base. A portion of the cell wall is cut away to reveal the ectoplast, plastids, tonoplast, vacuoles, nuclear structure, endoplast, mitochondria and other structures, making it a plant cell model for school and college cell biology. It is manufactured by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Plant Cell Model Used For?

Under a school light microscope an onion peel cell shows little more than a wall, cytoplasm, a nucleus and a large vacuole. The electron microscope reveals much more, and this model brings that detail to the classroom for the cell chapters of class 9 science (the fundamental unit of life) and class 11 biology (cell: the unit of life). With the wall partly removed, students can see that inside the rigid cell wall lies the ectoplast — an older name for the plasma membrane — and that the large central vacuole is bounded by its own membrane, the tonoplast. Plastids, including chloroplasts, mitochondria, the sites of aerobic respiration, and the nucleus with its envelope can then be compared with the same organelles in an animal cell.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Quantity — minimum 10 units.
  • Size and model material, if your tender lists them — ask JLab to confirm.
  • Companion charts or a prepared plant cell slide for the same lesson.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which parts of the plant cell does the model show?
The listing names the ectoplast, plastids, tonoplast, vacuoles, nuclear structure, endoplast and mitochondria, followed by “etc.”, so other structures are included too. Ask JLab for the full key if you need it.

Why is it described as an electron microscopic structure?
It shows the cell at the level of detail seen with an electron microscope, including membranes and organelles such as mitochondria that a school light microscope cannot resolve clearly.

What is the tonoplast?
The membrane that surrounds the vacuole of a plant cell. It controls the movement of water and dissolved substances into and out of the vacuole.

What are the order and dispatch terms?
Minimum order 10 units, sold individually; dispatch is usually within 7–10 working days after visual inspection, with export transit on top.

Who manufactures the model?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.

OEM Manufacturer

Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, manufactures cell biology models and science lab equipment in India; the company was incorporated in 2017 and works from Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This plant cell model is made in JLab’s own works and not bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy straight from the producer and reorders are handled by the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example the USA in North America, Portugal in Southern Europe, Finland in Northern Europe, Trinidad and Tobago in Central America and the Caribbean, and Iraq in the Middle East. Tender enquiries can start from the JLab lab tenders page.
