What Is the Upper and Lower Jaw Used For?
In the mouth only the crowns of the teeth can be seen; the roots sit in sockets in the jaw bone, out of sight. This enlarged model brings that hidden part into view, so a teacher can explain how each tooth is anchored and how the teeth receive their blood and nerve supply from inside the jaws.
