Making Quick Circuit Connections
Each clip grips a battery terminal, a component leg, a meter probe or a bare wire end, so a circuit can be put together or changed without soldering or screw terminals. With a clip at both ends, one lead bridges any two points directly. By convention the red lead goes to the positive side and the black lead to the negative, which makes a circuit easier to trace and check. Keep the current through the lead within its 10 A figure.
