What Is the Bluetooth Rover Used For?
The rover brings two sides of robotics into one model: wireless control and programming. Bluetooth is a short-range radio link, so students can steer the rover forward, back, left and right from a mobile device and see straight away how commands reach the motors. They can also program it, and reprogram it for new tasks, using the front ultrasonic sensor — which judges distance from the echo of a sound pulse — for distance measurement and obstacle-detection activities.
Because the electronics are enclosed in the durable acrylic body, they stay protected while beginners and school students handle the rover. It suits school robotics laboratories, STEM programmes, coding classes, innovation labs, robotics clubs and science exhibitions.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of rovers, for example one per pair or group of students.
- Other robot kits — such as the Bluetooth arm or an open-chassis robot car, to quote on the same enquiry.
- Delivery — the destination city or port and any packing or labelling needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Bluetooth Rover controlled?
Wirelessly over Bluetooth, from a compatible Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, with forward, reverse, left and right movement.
Can students program the rover?
Yes. It is a programmable rover and can be reprogrammed for different activities.
What is the ultrasonic sensor for?
Measuring the distance to objects in front of the rover and detecting obstacles, which students can use in their programs.
How does it differ from the 4WD Beige Chassis Acrylic Robotic Kit?
Both are four-wheel robots with a front ultrasonic sensor. The Bluetooth Rover encloses its electronics in an orange-and-white acrylic body and is driven over Bluetooth from a mobile device; the 4WD kit has an open beige chassis that keeps the controller, motor driver, battery holder and connections visible.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
The number of rovers, the destination country and port or city, your preferred delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, any packing or labelling instructions, and the tender reference if the order is for a tender.
Who manufactures the Bluetooth Rover?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of STEM robotics kits and school lab equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The rover is built at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, so schools, dealers and importers order it from the maker, with repeat orders handled by the same works. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Bolivia in South America, Greece in Southern Europe, Namibia in Southern Africa, Laos in Southeast Asia and Nigeria in West Africa. Tender buyers can refer to the JLab lab tenders page.
Other Robotics Kits
- Bluetooth Arm Acrylic Robotic Kit — a multi-joint robotic arm in red and black acrylic with a two-finger gripper and Bluetooth control.
- 4WD Beige Chassis Acrylic Robotic Kit — an open-chassis four-wheel-drive robot car with visible electronics.
- 2WD Orange Chassis Acrylic Robotic Kit — a two-wheel-drive robot car on an orange acrylic chassis.
- Mecanum Wheeled Acrylic Robotic Kit — Mecanum wheels for sideways and diagonal movement.
