Jlab Export is a leading Designer Fraction Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Designer Fraction (code EL-MLE-1762) is a maths lab manipulative set of 72 equilateral triangles in 3 different colours, used to develop and design different types of fractions and patterns. Students build shapes and designs from the triangles, then describe the coloured parts as fractions of the whole. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Designer Fraction Set Used For?
Equilateral triangles of equal size fit together edge to edge without gaps, which makes them good building blocks for both tiling patterns and fraction work. Two such triangles make a rhombus, three make a trapezium and six make a regular hexagon, so one triangle is one sixth of the hexagon and a trapezium is half of it. With three colours in the set, students can show the parts of a shape in different colours, name each part as a fraction and look for symmetry in their designs. The set is used in primary and middle-school maths lessons on fractions, shapes and patterns, and in school maths labs.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of sets, for example one for each group of students.
- Other fraction and pattern aids — the items linked below can be quoted on the same enquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many pieces are in the Designer Fraction set?
72 equilateral triangles, in 3 different colours.
What does it help students learn?
Fractions and patterns. Students use the triangles to develop and design different types of fractions and patterns, which links shape work with fraction language.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of sets, the destination country and port or city, your preferred delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling needs, and the tender reference if there is one.
Who manufactures the Designer Fraction set?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a maths and science lab equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The triangle set is made at JLab's own works, not bought in from a trader, so schools, dealers and importers order factory-direct and can reorder matching sets from the same maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Cambodia in Southeast Asia, Switzerland in Western Europe, Hong Kong in East Asia, Ecuador in South America and Zimbabwe in East Africa. For tender enquiries see the JLab lab tenders page.
