What Is the Domestic Gas Supply Training Panel Used For?
A domestic gas installation brings gas from the supply pipe through a pressure controller and a meter to the appliances, and every section has to be tight. This panel puts those parts on one board so trainees can work on gas pipes the way they will on site: selecting pipe sections, comparing a meter with a single connection (inlet and outlet in one fitting) with a meter that has separate inlet and outlet connections, and practising leak finding on a dedicated section, with pressures read on the leak testing device in millimetres of water column. The gas pressure controller shows how a supply pressure of 350 mbar is stepped down to an outlet pressure of 20 mbar.
It is intended for gas-fitting, plumbing and heating courses in ITI and TVET workshops, polytechnics and engineering-college labs, alongside the other JLab gas and heating training panels.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of panels; the minimum order is 10 units.
- Services at your workshop — for example the compressed-air supply available for the air pressure controller.
- Other training panels — burner, gas heater, safety device or heating-circuit panels to be quoted with it.
- Delivery — destination country and city, and the tender reference if one applies.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can trainees practise on this panel?
Exercises on gas pipes: two individually selectable pipe sections, a gas meter with one connection and one with two connections, a pipe section for finding leaks, and a supply pipe with a gas socket and a gas connection with ball valve.
What pressures do the controllers work at?
The air pressure controller takes an inlet pressure of up to 10 bar and gives an outlet pressure of 0.01 to 0.6 bar. The gas pressure controller has an admission pressure of 350 mbar and an outlet pressure of 20 mbar.
What is the range of the leak testing device?
Up to 500 mm water column (mmWC).
Why are there two different gas meters?
Gas meters are installed either with one connection, where inlet and outlet share a single fitting, or with two separate connections. Having both on the panel lets trainees practise each type.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
Send the quantity, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling requirements and the tender reference, if any.
Who manufactures the Domestic Gas Supply Training Panel?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of vocational training panels and laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This panel is built at JLab’s own works rather than bought in from a trader, so training institutes, colleges, dealers and importers order it direct from the factory; each panel is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders and spare fittings are handled by the manufacturer. JLab holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 (manufacturing enterprise) and Importer-Exporter Code 3317504552. It exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Yemen in the Middle East, Latvia in Northern Europe, Bulgaria in Eastern Europe, Paraguay in South America and Luxembourg in Western Europe. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
