Lighting a Burner with the Spark Lighter
Open the gas only slightly, hold the cup of the lighter just beside the top of the burner tube and squeeze the handle a few times until the gas catches. Once the flame is lit, adjust the air and gas for the flame you need. The nickel plating resists rust, which matters for a tool kept near sinks and gas taps.
