What Is the Embalming Machine Used For?
Bodies donated for anatomy teaching are embalmed so that the tissues stay fixed and can be dissected over many months. With a gravity bottle the preserving solution runs into the vessels slowly under its own head of pressure; this machine uses compressed air in its stainless steel tank to drive the solution through the rubber tubing faster, and the pressure gauge shows the tank pressure during the run. Mounted on a castor-wheeled trolley, it can be moved between the embalming room and the dissection hall. It is used by anatomy departments of medical, dental and veterinary colleges and by mortuary and body-donation facilities that prepare cadavers for teaching.
Frequently Asked Questions

What fittings does the tank have?
A safety valve, a pressure gauge and rubber tubing with provision for injection.
What power supply does it need?
220 V, single phase, 50 Hz AC. It is supplied complete with an electric cord and plug.
Is it portable?
Yes. The fully covered unit is mounted on a portable trolley with four castor wheels for easy movement.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
Send the number of machines, the destination country and port or city, the electrical supply at the site, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, packing or labelling needs and any tender reference.
Who manufactures the Embalming Machine?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) builds it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of anatomy-department and laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The machine is fabricated at JLab’s own works, not bought from a trader, so medical colleges, dealers and importers order it directly from the maker, which also handles repeat orders. The company is registered under CIN U29309HR2017PTC069123 and has MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 (manufacturing enterprise). JLab exports worldwide and ships to every region — Lebanon in the Middle East, Egypt in North Africa, Paraguay in South America, New Zealand in Oceania and Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, for example. Tender details are on the JLab lab tenders page.
