When the Flat Form Helps
With a 90 mm diameter against just 25 mm of height, the dish exposes a wide liquid surface, so solutions concentrate quickly and the dried solid settles as a thin layer that scrapes out easily. That makes it handy for salt recovery, drying a filtered precipitate and heating samples in a furnace. Compared with the smaller Superior Quality dish, it holds more liquid while staying just as shallow to handle.
Handling and Cleaning
Bring the dish up to temperature gradually and let it cool the same way, setting it on a ceramic tile instead of a cold bench. Soak dried residues in warm water or a cleaning solution suited to the chemical used, then rinse and dry before the next run.
