Hydraulic Press Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India

Hydraulic Press

Product Code : EL-SLE-4609
Jlab Export is a leading Hydraulic Press Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Hydraulic Press (code EL-SLE-4609) is a demonstration apparatus with two graduated syringes, of 100 cm³ and 20 cm³, mounted on a metal frame and joined through a 3-position tap, used to show how fluid pressure is transmitted and how a hydraulic system gives mechanical advantage in school and college physics. Both ground pistons carry platforms for loading. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

How Does It Compare with Other JLab Hydraulic Press Models?

ModelConstruction (as listed)Other listed details
This hydraulic press (EL-SLE-4609)100 cm³ and 20 cm³ graduated syringes with ground pistons on a metal frame3-position tap; loading platforms on both pistons
Hydraulic Press (50 ml and 10 ml)50 ml and 10 ml graduated syringes with pistons on a metal frame3-position tap; loading platforms on both pistons

Choose this model when you want the larger 100 cm³ and 20 cm³ syringes rather than the 50 ml and 10 ml version. The glass Bramah model with its water trough is aimed at whole-group demonstration rather than student handling.

What Is the Hydraulic Press Used For?

The apparatus demonstrates Pascal's law: pressure applied to an enclosed fluid is passed on undiminished to every part of it. With the tap set to interconnect the syringes, a push on the 20 cm³ piston raises the 100 cm³ piston. Both pistons feel the same pressure, so the force on each is proportional to its cross-sectional area, and a small load on the narrow piston can balance a larger load on the wide one — the mechanical advantage behind hydraulic lifts, presses and vehicle brakes. Because the syringes are graduated, students can also see that the volume pushed out of one syringe equals the volume taken in by the other, which is why the small piston has to travel further. It fits class 11 physics on the mechanical properties of fluids, middle-school lessons on pressure, and introductory engineering courses.

To set up, open a syringe to the atmosphere through the tap to draw in liquid or reset a piston, use the isolated position to hold each syringe separately, and switch to interconnected for the demonstration. Water is the usual classroom liquid; expel air bubbles first, because trapped air compresses and spoils the result. After use, rinse with clean water and drain, keep the ground pistons free of grit, and never force a stiff piston.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Syringe size — this 100 cm³ and 20 cm³ model, or the smaller 50 ml and 10 ml version.
  • Quantity — the minimum order is 10 units; one per student group suits practical classes.
  • Loading weights — slotted weights are not part of this listing; add a set to the same enquiry.
  • Companion items — the Pascal's law apparatus and wall chart cover the same topic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the hydraulic press demonstrate?
How pressure applied to a confined fluid is transmitted, and how that transmission gives mechanical advantage: a small force on the narrow piston can lift a larger load on the wide one.

What are the syringe capacities?
100 cm³ and 20 cm³. Both syringes are graduated and have ground pistons, so movements can be read directly as volumes.

What does the 3-position tap do?
It opens the syringes to the atmosphere, isolates them, or interconnects them. You use the open setting to fill or reset, and the interconnected setting for the demonstration itself.

Which liquid should be used?
Plain water is the usual choice. Whatever liquid you use, clear out air bubbles before loading, since air compresses and reduces the effect. A liquid is not mentioned as part of the supply.

Are weights included with the hydraulic press?
Both pistons have loading platforms, but weights are not part of this listing. Slotted weights are separate items and can be quoted in the same enquiry.

How does it differ from the 50 ml hydraulic press?
The design is the same — graduated syringes on a metal frame, a 3-position tap and loading platforms — but this model has 100 cm³ and 20 cm³ syringes instead of 50 ml and 10 ml.

What is the minimum order and dispatch time?
The minimum order is 10 units, sold individually, and dispatch is usually within 7–10 working days after each unit is visually inspected. Transit time for export depends on the destination.

What details does an export quotation need?
Send the quantity, the destination country and port or city, delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), packing or labelling needs, and the tender reference if there is one.

Who manufactures this hydraulic press?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) builds it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India, and quotes for it directly.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a physics demonstration apparatus and lab equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The hydraulic press is assembled in JLab's own works rather than resold from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy factory-direct, each unit is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — Gambia in West Africa, Cameroon in Central Africa, Croatia in Southern Europe, Zambia in East Africa and Ecuador in South America, to name a few. For tender supply see the JLab lab tenders page.

Fluid Pressure Apparatus and Accessories

  • Pascal Law Experiment — a hollow ball with small holes and a piston tube, showing pressure transmitted equally in all directions.
  • Pascals Law — a laminated physics wall chart on Pascal's law and hydraulic machines.
  • Slotted Weight Set — a steel set with hanger for loading the piston platforms.
  • Bramah Hydraulic Press — a glass working model with water trough for group demonstration.
