What Is the Magnified Uterus Model Used For?
A coronal (frontal) section divides the uterus into front and back halves and opens its interior to view. The model lets a teacher show where the vaginal wall divides the cervix into its supra-vaginal and vaginal portions, and how the ligaments of the uterus hold the organ in place.
