MIG Welding Machine Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PEAWE-8718
Jlab Export is a leading MIG Welding Machine Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
This three phase MIG welding set comes in two output sizes. They give 250 A or 400 A at 60% duty cycle, and 200 A or 320 A at 100%. A consumable wire runs from a separate wire feeder through the torch, under a shielding gas. The power source, feeder, ground cable, interconnecting cable, feeder input cable and gas hose make up the set.

Wire Welding Practicals for ITI Trainees
Trainees begin with bead-on-plate runs on mild steel, changing wire speed and voltage one at a time to hear and see how the arc and bead change. They move on to fillet welds on T-joints and lap joints, in a Leather Welding Jacket and behind a Welding Shield Flip Up Lens Type.
A fillet break test then checks root fusion. A short T-joint is clamped in the Bench Vice and its upright leg knocked over until the weld breaks. The broken root is then examined for lack of fusion and porosity. Teachers can also compare short-circuit transfer on thin sheet with spray transfer on thick plate, using an argon-rich gas at high current.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do the two duty cycle ratings mean?
The rating gives the part of every ten minutes that the set can weld at a given current, as a percentage. The smaller model gives 200 A at 100%, so it can weld non-stop, and 250 A at 60%, or six minutes in ten. The larger model gives 320 A and 400 A.
Which of the two models suits our workshop?
The 250 A model covers sheet and light plate, which is most training work. The 400 A model has the extra current for thick plate and long runs on heavy fabrication.
What supply and fuses does it need?
Both models run on 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz. The smaller one draws 11 A at full load and is fused at 16 A, and the larger draws 15 A with 25 A fuses. Power factor is 0.9 on both.
Why is the wire feeder a separate unit?
The feeder can be placed close to the job while the power source stays at the wall, so the torch cable is short and the wire feeds smoothly. The interconnecting cable links the feeder to the power source, and the gas hose brings shielding gas to it.
What does the open circuit voltage tell me?
It is the voltage across the output terminals with no arc struck. It is 15–36 V on the smaller model and 15–42 V on the larger, whose higher top end supports the longer arcs used at high current.
