What Is the Rani Jhansi Chart Used For?

Lakshmibai was queen of the Maratha-ruled state of Jhansi. When her husband died, the East India Company refused to recognise their adopted son and annexed Jhansi under the Doctrine of Lapse; in the great revolt that followed — often called India’s First War of Independence — she defended Jhansi against the British and later died fighting near Gwalior. Her courage made her one of the most celebrated heroines of Indian history, celebrated in Subhadra Kumari Chauhan’s Hindi poem Jhansi ki Rani.

Teachers put the chart up for history lessons on the revolt and on British expansion in India, for recitations of the poem, and for Independence Day, Republic Day and women’s-day displays on women in the freedom struggle. Its laminated face wipes clean with a damp cloth; keep it out of strong sunlight and roll it on its rollers, not folded, when it is put away.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian maker of classroom charts, teaching aids and lab apparatus, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This chart is produced at JLab’s own works instead of being bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy direct from the factory; each chart is visually checked before packing, and repeat orders come from the manufacturer itself. JLab exports worldwide to buyers in every region — Malawi in East Africa, Sudan in North Africa, Eswatini in Southern Africa, Turkmenistan in Central Asia and Albania in Southern Europe among them.
