Resistivity Meters Low Power Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-ERME-8731
Jlab Export is a leading Resistivity Meters Low Power Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Resistivity Meters Low Power (code EL-ERME-8731) is the low power (4 W) version of an earth resistivity meter for geophysical surveys such as groundwater exploration, bedrock studies and geotechnical mapping. It is suited to the high-resistivity soils of the Deccan trap and gives a depth penetration of about 100 metres. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) builds this low power meter in Ambala, India, for universities, colleges, survey teams and dealers.

Low Power, High Power or Advanced Version?
| Model | Output power | Depth penetration | Ground and other details |
|---|---|---|---|
| This low power model (EL-ERME-8731) | 4 W | About 100 m | High-resistivity soils of the Deccan trap |
| Resistivity Meters High Power | 40 W | More than 600 m | Any type of soil; preferred for the low-resistivity soils of coastal regions |
| Resistivity Meters Advanced Version | — | — | AUTO C version; selects the maximum possible field current itself and displays the current flowing during measurement |
Choose the low power model for hard, high-resistivity ground and investigations to around 100 m; the high power model reaches deeper and is preferred on low-resistivity coastal soils, and the advanced version takes the current setting off the operator’s hands.
What Is the Low Power Resistivity Meter Used For?
An earth resistivity meter drives a current into the ground through one pair of electrodes and measures the potential difference across a second pair; from these readings and the electrode spacing, the apparent resistivity of the ground is calculated, and widening the spacing looks deeper. Because high-resistivity ground gives a larger potential difference for the same current, a low power instrument is enough on the basalt of the Deccan trap.
Surveys of this kind are used to locate water-bearing zones before drilling, to find the depth to bedrock, and in mining, pipeline route surveys, civil engineering, environmental studies, geological and geotechnical mapping and agricultural engineering. University geology and geophysics departments also use such meters for field training.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Model — low power, high power or the advanced version, according to the ground and the depth you need to investigate.
- Survey conditions — the type of ground, such as basalt or coastal soil, so the right model is quoted.
- Quantity, destination and delivery terms for an export order.
Frequently Asked Questions
How deep can the low power resistivity meter investigate?
It gives a depth penetration of about 100 metres from its 4 W output.
Which ground is the low power model suited to?
High-resistivity soils, such as those of the Deccan trap. For low-resistivity soils of coastal regions, the 40 W high power version is the preferred model.
What are earth resistivity surveys used for?
Groundwater exploration, bedrock studies, mining, pipeline surveys, civil engineering, environmental studies, geological and geotechnical mapping, and agricultural engineering.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
Send the model, the quantity, the destination country and port or city, your delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling needs, and the tender reference if one applies.
Who makes the Resistivity Meters Low Power?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — makes it in Ambala, Haryana, India, and prepares the quotation.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a laboratory and field equipment company in Ambala, Haryana, India, incorporated in 2017. JLab builds geophysical instruments such as this resistivity meter alongside its laboratory equipment, so a geology department or survey team can buy field and laboratory equipment on one enquiry. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Ivory Coast in West Africa, the UAE in the Middle East, Papua New Guinea in Oceania, Ireland in Western Europe and Mexico in North America.
