Microprocessor Resistivity Meter Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India

Microprocessor Resistivity Meter

Product Code : EL-MOGI-8778
Jlab Export is a leading Microprocessor Resistivity Meter Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Microprocessor Resistivity Meter (code EL-MOGI-8778) is a microprocessor-based data acquisition system for earth resistivity surveys, usable to depths of up to 600 m under favourable geological conditions. It stacks up to 99 successive readings to enhance the signal, which lets it reach good depth with relatively low power transmission. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) builds this data acquisition system in Ambala, India, for universities, colleges, survey teams and dealers.

How Does It Compare with the Other Resistivity Meters?

ModelSurvey depthSignal and power
This microprocessor meter (EL-MOGI-8778)Up to 600 m (favourable conditions)Stacks up to 99 readings; relatively low power transmission
ATS Resistivity MeterUp to 600 m (favourable conditions)Stacks up to 16 readings; relatively low power inputs
Resistivity Meters (DDR 3)Up to about 200 m24 V rechargeable battery; stabilised current up to 200 mA

Choose this meter when you want the most stacking, up to 99 readings per measurement; the ATS meter offers the same depth rating with up to 16, and the DDR 3 is a battery-powered meter for surveys to about 200 m.

What Is the Microprocessor Resistivity Meter Used For?

A resistivity meter measures the voltage produced in the ground by a current sent between electrodes, and the resistivity worked out from many such readings at growing electrode spacings shows how the ground changes with depth. At large spacings the voltage to be measured becomes small and noisy; adding up and averaging repeated readings, as this meter does with up to 99 of them, reduces the effect of random noise, which is how it achieves depth penetration with relatively low power transmission. Typical uses are groundwater and mineral exploration and deep geological soundings by survey teams and university geophysics groups.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Model — this microprocessor meter, the ATS meter or the DDR 3.
  • The survey depth and ground conditions you expect.
  • Number of instruments, destination and delivery terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How deep can the Microprocessor Resistivity Meter survey?
Up to 600 m under favourable geological conditions.

What does signal stacking do?
The meter takes up to 99 successive readings and combines them, which enhances the signal and reduces the effect of random noise on the result.

What information is needed for an export quotation?
Send the model, the quantity, the destination country and port or city, your delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling instructions, and the tender reference if there is one.

Who makes the Microprocessor Resistivity Meter?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — makes it in Ambala, Haryana, India, and prepares the quotation.
