What Is the Room Thermometer Used For?
A room thermometer gives a quick reading of air temperature where it hangs. - Shaking — grip the thermometer firmly near the top with the bulb pointing down, move it down quickly and reverse sharply with a snap of the wrist, and repeat the stroke several times.
