Transparent Figure Set Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-G-3522
Jlab Export is a leading Transparent Figure Set Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Transparent Figure Set (code EL-G-3522) is a set of 6 big transparent solids — cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder and two hemispheres — for whole-class demonstration. Holes at two vertices of the cube and at the top of the cone take a wire that shows a diagonal or a height. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Transparent Figure Set Used For?
Two ideas that students often find hard to picture are the diagonal of a solid and the height of a cone. With a wire passed through the holes at two vertices of the transparent cube, the whole class can see a diagonal running through the inside of the figure, a length found with Pythagoras’ theorem (for a cube of side a, the diagonal through the body is a times the square root of three). On the cone, a wire through the top hole marks the vertical height, so it can be compared with the slant height along the surface; the slant height squared equals the height squared plus the radius squared. The cuboid, cylinder and two hemispheres cover the other solids met in the surface areas and volumes chapters of class 9 and class 10 maths in CBSE and ICSE schools.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Number of sets — usually one per maths classroom, as the figures are made for whole-class demonstration.
- Other demonstration models — the 3D Solids set or the cone-and-cylinder model can be added to the same enquiry as separate items.
- Delivery location — school address, or destination country and port for export.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which figures are in the Transparent Figure Set?
Six pieces: a cube, a cuboid, a cone, a cylinder and two hemispheres, all transparent.
Why do the cube and the cone have holes?
The cube has holes at two vertices and the cone a hole at its top so that a wire can be inserted — in the cube to show the diagonal of a 3D figure, in the cone to show how the slant height differs from the vertical height.
Are the figures big enough for a whole class?
Yes. They are big in size and are meant for demonstration to the whole class.
What are the two hemispheres used for?
A hemisphere is half of a sphere, so the pair helps when discussing the curved surface area and volume of a hemisphere and how they relate to those of a full sphere.
What should an export quotation request include?
The number of sets, the destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, any packing or labelling instructions and a tender reference if needed.
Who manufactures the Transparent Figure Set?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of maths lab equipment and laboratory apparatus in India, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The figure set is produced at JLab’s own works, not obtained from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy from the factory itself; each set is visually inspected before it is packed, and repeat orders are handled by the same maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Kazakhstan in Central Asia, Congo in Central Africa, the UAE in the Middle East, Libya in North Africa and Iceland in Northern Europe.
