What Are the Vertebrae Degeneration Models Used For?
In a herniated disc the soft centre of the intervertebral disc pushes out through its tougher outer ring and can press on a nerve. With wear over the years, discs lose height and the vertebrae form bony outgrowths (bone spurs), while osteoporosis reduces bone mass so that vertebral bodies can collapse under load. Putting a normal segment next to the three affected ones makes these changes easy to compare. The set is used for patient education in orthopaedic, physiotherapy and pain clinics, in anatomy and pathology teaching at medical, physiotherapy and nursing colleges, and in class 11 biology lessons on disorders of the skeletal system such as osteoporosis.
What to Specify When Ordering

Who manufactures the Vertebrae Degeneration Models?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of anatomical, spine and joint models, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The vertebrae set is made at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, so clinics, colleges, dealers and importers buy factory-direct, every set is inspected by eye before dispatch, and repeat orders go back to the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Congo in Central Africa, Benin in West Africa, Luxembourg in Western Europe, the Philippines in Southeast Asia and Poland in Eastern Europe. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
