Wiring a Circuit with Plug Leads
Push each plug fully into its socket or binding post so the contact is firm before the supply is switched on, and remove a lead by holding the plug body rather than pulling the wire. A series circuit of supply, switch, bulb and meter needs four leads, and each meter or component added in parallel needs two more.
