What Is the Chemical Balance Used For?
It is the traditional mechanical balance of quantitative chemistry. The sample on one pan is balanced against standard weights on the other, and the last fractions of a gram are set by moving a rider along the notched, graduated beam. With no electronics, it needs no power supply.
