What Is the Circular Geoboard Used For?
The centre peg makes the geometry of a circle easy to see. Joining it to a peg on either circle gives a radius, joining two pegs on the same circle gives a chord, and the pegs between them mark out an arc and a sector. Because the pegs are equally spaced, joining them round a circle produces regular polygons, and four pegs on one circle form a cyclic quadrilateral whose opposite angles can be compared. Students can also set the angle an arc makes at the centre beside the angle it makes at a point on the circle — a result met in the circles chapter of class 9 maths. The second, different-sized circle lets each construction be repeated on another radius.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pegs does the Circular Geoboard have, and how are they arranged?
It has 25 pegs on a 20 cm x 20 cm board: equally spaced pegs on two circles of different size, and one peg at the centre.
Which topics can it be used for?
Parts of a circle, regular polygons, cyclic quadrilaterals and angles at the centre, mainly for the circles chapter of class 9 maths.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
Please give the quantity, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you want (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling instructions, and a tender reference if applicable.
Who manufactures the Circular Geoboard?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, known as JLab, makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian maker of maths laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The circular geoboard is made at JLab’s own works, not bought in from a trader, so schools, dealers and importers buy straight from the maker, each board is visually inspected before it leaves, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. Its registrations include CIN U29309HR2017PTC069123 and MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 (manufacturing enterprise). JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — Greece in Southern Europe, Vanuatu in Oceania, Iceland in Northern Europe, Kazakhstan in Central Asia and Algeria in North Africa, to give a few examples. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
