What Are T and Y Connectors Used For?
A T or Y connector lets one length of tubing feed two others, or brings two lines into one — for example to share a gas, water or vacuum supply between two pieces of apparatus. The T takes a branch off at right angles to a straight run; the Y splits the line into two angled arms.
