Keeping the Stand Steady
Fit the rod and turn the clamps so that the load hangs over the length of the base rather than beyond its edge. Fix heavy items, such as a filled burette or a flask of liquid, as low on the rod as the set-up allows, and wipe spilled acid off the powder coating promptly to protect the steel beneath.
