What Is the tri-FACTa Addition and Subtraction Game Used For?
A fact family groups an addition fact with the subtraction facts that undo it, and seeing the three numbers together helps pupils use the additions they know to subtract. Working with facts up to 20, players fill the missing spots on the triangle board with their cards to complete each family, so the game fits the early primary years, when number bonds within 20 are learned, as well as maths clubs and small-group catch-up sessions.
