Ferrite Magnet Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-SLE-4555
Jlab Export is a leading Ferrite Magnet Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Ferrite Magnet (code EL-SLE-4555) is a ferrite ring magnet made for the floating ring magnet apparatus, used in school physics labs to show that like magnetic poles repel. Stacked on a vertical rod with like poles facing, the rings hold each other apart in mid-air, and spare rings let you replace chipped ones or extend a stack. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

How Are Ferrite Ring Magnets Used?
Each ring is magnetised so that its two flat faces are a north and a south pole. Slide the rings onto a non-magnetic rod with like poles facing and each one is pushed up by the ring below, settling where the magnetic repulsion balances its weight. The gaps get smaller towards the bottom because the lower rings carry the weight of all the rings above, which lets students see that the magnetic force grows as the magnets get closer. Turn one ring over and it snaps onto its neighbour, showing attraction between unlike poles. The demonstration fits the class 6 lesson that like poles repel and unlike poles attract, and later work on magnetic forces and fields.
Ferrite is hard but brittle, so slide rings on gently and never let two rings jump together — the impact can chip or crack them. Keep the magnets away from bank cards, watches and electronic devices, and store them stacked with thin spacers so they are easy to separate.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are these ferrite magnets for?
They are the ring magnets used in the floating ring magnet apparatus, where like poles facing each other make the rings float on a rod. They also serve as spares for an existing apparatus.
Do the rings have positive and negative charges?
No. Magnets have north and south poles, not electric charges. The floating effect comes from repulsion between like poles.
What size are the rings, and how many come in a set?
The listing gives neither the ring size nor a set quantity. Tell JLab which apparatus the rings are for, or the rod diameter, and ask for the matching size.
Is the rod and base included?
No. This listing covers the magnets; the complete floating ring magnet apparatus with its rod and base is listed separately.
What is the minimum order and dispatch time?
The minimum order is 10 units, sold individually, and orders usually leave within 7–10 working days after a visual inspection. For export, send the destination port or city and your delivery terms, such as FOB or CIF.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of magnetism, electricity and general physics apparatus in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. These magnets are supplied from JLab’s own works rather than through a trader, so schools, dealers and importers buy factory-direct; each one is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and can serve buyers in all regions — for example the Philippines in Southeast Asia, the Maldives in South Asia, Canada in North America, Kenya in East Africa and Egypt in North Africa. Tender details are on the JLab lab tenders page.
