What Is the Cervical Vertebra Model Used For?
Like the other typical cervical vertebrae, C5 has a small, broad body, a large triangular vertebral foramen for the spinal cord, a split (bifid) spinous process and an opening in each transverse process, the foramen transversarium, through which the vertebral artery runs. Enlarged, these features are easy to point out to a whole class.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the fifth cervical vertebra a good teaching example?
C5 is one of the typical cervical vertebrae, C3 to C6, so it shows the features most neck vertebrae share, unlike the specialised atlas, axis and seventh cervical vertebra.
Can other spine models go on the same enquiry?
Yes. The spine models linked below are separate JLab items that can be quoted with it.
What should an export enquiry contain?
The quantity, destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, any packing or labelling requirements and, for tenders, the tender reference.
