What Is the Geometry Kit Used For?

Two sticks screwed together at one hole make an angle that can be opened and closed, so students can turn it from acute through right and obtuse to straight and see each type of angle in turn. Two sticks crossed at a screw show vertically opposite angles, and a stick screwed across two parallel sticks forms a transversal with its corresponding and alternate angles — the angle relationships of the lines-and-angles chapters in class 7 and class 9 maths. Joining sticks end to end makes triangles and other polygons; a triangle keeps its shape while a four-sided frame can be pushed out of shape, which shows why triangles are used in rigid structures.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Quantity — for example one kit per student group, plus one for the teacher’s demonstration.
  • Other angle and polygon models from the range that you want on the same quotation.
  • Destination country and delivery terms for an export order.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Geometry Kit contain?
Seven plastic sticks with holes, and screws provided for joining them.

What can it be used to teach?
Types of angles and angle relationships, the making of different polygons, and the verification of geometry theorems.

How are the sticks joined?
With the screws provided in the kit, which fasten the sticks together through their holes.

What information is needed for an export quotation?
The number of kits, the destination country and port or city, preferred delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, any packing or labelling requirements, and a tender reference if one applies.

Who manufactures the Geometry Kit?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a maths lab equipment and school science apparatus manufacturer, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The geometry kit is produced at JLab’s own works, not sourced from a trader, so schools, dealers and importers order from the maker, every kit is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders come from the same works. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Austria in Western Europe, Mongolia in East Asia, Sudan in North Africa, Thailand in Southeast Asia and New Zealand in Oceania. Tender buyers can see the JLab lab tenders page.

Related Angle and Shape Models

  • Triangle Kit — five different sets of congruent triangles for classifying triangles by sides and angles, as a group activity.
  • Exterior Angle of Regular Polygon — a regular polygon with extended arms and matching angle cut-outs, showing that the exterior angles of a polygon add up to 360 degrees.
  • Geometric Shapes Building Set — 90 sticks in three sizes, 32 curves and 48 connectors for building flat shapes and then solid ones.
  • Vertex Wonder — vertex balls and linking rods for building plane and solid figures.
