Hollow Sphere Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-MLE-1790
Jlab Export is a leading Hollow Sphere Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Hollow Sphere (code EL-MLE-1790) is a transparent maths manipulative that demonstrates the mass and volume of a hollow sphere. An inbuilt inner sphere, 7.5 cm (about 3 inches) in diameter, sits inside a transparent outer sphere measuring 12.5 cm, so students can see both surfaces of a spherical shell while they work out its volume. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Hollow Sphere Used For?
A hollow sphere, or spherical shell, is a ball with a spherical space inside it, like a hollow metal ball. Its volume of material is the volume of the outer sphere minus the volume of the inner one, (4/3)π(R³ − r³), where R and r are the outer and inner radii, and its mass is that volume multiplied by the density of the material. Seeing the inner sphere through the transparent outer body makes it clear what is being subtracted.
The model is used in class 9 and class 10 lessons on surface areas and volumes, alongside other transparent solids, and for teacher demonstrations in the school maths lab.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — for example one model per group, or one for demonstration.
- Other solids — the hollow cylinder and sphere models linked below can be quoted on the same enquiry.
- Delivery details — the destination city or port and any tender reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the sizes of the Hollow Sphere?
The outer sphere measures 12.5 cm and the inbuilt inner sphere is 7.5 cm (about 3 inches) in diameter.
What does it demonstrate?
The mass and volume of a hollow sphere, using a transparent outer body with an inner sphere built in.
How is the volume of a hollow sphere found?
Subtract the volume of the inner sphere from the volume of the outer sphere: (4/3)π(R³ − r³), with R and r the outer and inner radii. Multiplying by the density gives the mass.
Who manufactures it?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of maths lab models and science teaching equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The hollow sphere model is made at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, and schools, dealers and importers order it factory-direct; each model is visually checked before dispatch and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Australia in Oceania, France in Western Europe, Thailand in Southeast Asia, Nepal in South Asia and Armenia in Eastern Europe. Tender buyers can see the JLab lab tenders page.
